MERTEL Motorsport returns to TCR Eastern Europe with 3 cars entry
The last weekend of April will be the start of the TCR Eastern Europe 2024 and MERTEL Motorsport, the German team from Nuremberg with owner Siegfried Mertel and team principal Mario Grummt are prepared and looking forward to compete the second season in the series. Now with three cars, to aim for podiums again over the 6 rounds.
MERTEL Motorsport is keen on sustaining the successful last season, when skills, strategy and effort of drivers and team worked out for many, many podiums for both drivers, Davit Kajaia and René Kircher, and a vice championship for Kircher and the team. This proven passionate and competent squad will 2024 be expanded by female driver Jorden Dolischka to attack the competitors threefold in the new season.

RENÉ KIRCHER
2023 JUNIOR TROPHY CHAMPION and OVERALL VICE-CHAMPION René Kircher @renekircher remains with the team for 2024. His strong attitude and professional approach have made him an integral part of the TCR squad of MERTEL Motorsport and good performance makes him hungry for more! Again supported by his entire family, René will push the team and himself above limits!
DAVIT KAJAIA
P4 overall in 2023 was not the perfect result Davit @davitkajaia was aiming for and therefore he will do everything together with MERTEL Motorsport to put the national flag of Georgia on top of the podium in 2024. Owning an incredible amount of racing experience, David is the pivotal point of improving driving and processes within the team. Supported by the whole country of Georgia, David will be racing for front row positions!
JORDEN DOLISCHKA
The newest addition to the TCR squad of MERTEL Motorsport is Austrian driver Jorden Dolischka. The young woman @jorden_dolischka has collected early experiences in karting and hatchback race cars and after a test day in Brno in 2023 it was clear for her and the team to expand the shared passion for TCR racing.
