Prepared for Ferrari Challenge in Portimao round 4

Now it’s time for Ferrari Challenge Europe round 4 – half of the season is already done. The MERTEL Motorsport team will compete with Luca Ludwig at this spectacular Algarve International Racetrack in Portugal. A lap of Portimão is marked by heavy elevation changes throughout its 4.653 km layout. These big slopes mix with a varied selection of both tight and sweeping turns. After the last round in Jerez, this will be a nice challenge and the race will be really thrilling.
Luca Ludwig on the mental attitude for the Portimao race: „I wasn’t one hundred percent satisfied with the podium success in Jerez with second and third place, because of course we set out to win. We didn’t quite manage that. But with 40 degrees and a real heat battle, it was a conciliatory result.
Now we want to finally get a win in Portimao. We know the track better and have already raced there successfully in the GT Cup series. We want to try to finish on the podium at least twice at the Ferrari Challenge Europe in Portugal as well – but the declared goal is clearly to win the races.”
