MERTEL Motorsport with six drivers and Arturo Merzario in the FCD Racing Series at the Nürburgring OGP
The famous Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring – always a great event for MERTEL Motorsport and its drivers in the FCD RacingSeries, the official racing series of the Ferrari Club Deutschland. Ferrari racing cars from various decades are on the track together this weekend and put on a good show. The experienced racing drivers from MERTEL Motorsport are competing in various classes. Ralf Goral, Andreas Felbinger-Forster and Maximilian Mayer with a Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo, Oliver Mayer in the 458 Challenge Evo. But MERTEL Motorsport has a special surprise up its sleeve at the OGP: Jason Stuart-Wright, who competes every year at the Nürburgring in the FCD RacingSeries (and also in historic motorsport), shares the cockpit of his Ferrari 458 GT3 this year with his friend Arturo Merzario in the MERTEL Motorsport team. Famous Italian cars and famous Italian (Ferrari) drivers – what could be a better match? Merzario – former F1 driver also for Ferrari, two-time winner of the Targa Florio (1972 in a Ferrari) and long-time racer in historic motorsport – knows the Nürburgring from many races.
