Time for Finali, time for Imola and the Worldfinals. Luca Ludwig in the Ferrari 296 Challenge – the best combination one could think of to start in the final races of the season in the Ferrari Challenge Europe. A lot of races, driving in Competizioni GT and a bunch of single events will take part from Wednesday to Sunday, a great event crowned by the Worldfinals. But additionally to the Finals there are some specials at this event for MERTEL Motorsport.
Luca Ludwig starts in Trofeo Pirelli and one special of MERTEL Motorsport you will see on the track: Lucas weapon #8 will race with a GERMANY livery – to gain some awareness for the FIA Motorsport Games. They will take part in Valencia some days later. Lucas car will be run for Germany with MERTEL Motorsport in the Ferrari Challenge category. In Valencia piloted by Axel Sartingen – for whom we also cross our fingers in Imola, but well, to be honest, we are biased, the win should be Lucas part in Imola.
Luca will be joined by Davit Kajaia, Georgian racer with first entry in the Ferrari Challenge this weekend. Davit who shared the Ferrari 488 Challenge cockpit last year in GT Cup Open with MERTEL Challenge driver Martinus Richter will start with the Ferrari 296 CH in Trofeo Pirelli. After Imola he will compete for Georgia also with MERTEL in the Ferrari Challenge category of the FIA Motorsport Games.

Luca will additionally be on duty to clinch a Championship title at this weekend in Monza with GT Cup Open. How he will manage to be at both racing events? Did you ever spot that Luca and parts of the Italian word for speed “velocitá” are very similar? No wonder. So the answer is: Well, he’s simply fast enough …
A mixed season with spectacular wins and heartbreaking and bitter racing results comes to its peak.
