The first 12h Endurance race for MERTEL Motorsport in Australia/Bathurst

After qualifying we started the race from P11. In the first third of the race things went better and worse and we positioned ourselves on P9. Then, after about 6 hours, the red flag was waved and the race was interrupted for about 45 minutes (technical problems with the servers).

After the interruption, the race was started in the order in which the cars completed the last scored lap before the race interruption. So we started from P9.

In order to achieve a much better position in the last 6 hours, our strategy department worked tirelessly in the background to calculate the best for us, also with regard to the fact that we only had 4 sets of tyres for the remaining time.

Our strategy worked and we fought our way up to 4th place, where an attempt was also made to attack 3rd place, but this was able to close the gap and we finished the race in a very good 4th place.

All in all it was a pretty good race with a very well balanced car and a super race team with very good drivers and strategists in the background. The next races are still on the attack to the front
