Summary EoS-WGT from the team
We started in the championship under a different name. Due to the switch to MERTEL Motorsport and the resulting change of vehicle to the Ferrari 296 GT3, the points from the first two races were cancelled. Despite the switch to the new car, the season went solidly. A string of top 10 results secured us eighth place in the championship (third place without points deduction). The highlight was third place in the 24H race at Spa Francorchamps.
We can definitely be satisfied with the season. It was an instructive time to get to know the new vehicle as well as its strengths and weaknesses.
Summary EoS-EGT from the team
The European Endurance 2023 season was very successful. We finished on the podium in five out of seven races, twice with first place. The highlight of the season was the six-hour race in Paul Ricard. With a lead of more than three minutes, we dominated the race for more than four hours. As a result, we finished the season in first place in the championship, 45 points behind the runner-up.
With two first places and a victory in the 24H race at Spa Francorchamps, we can look back on the season with great satisfaction and will build on last year’s successes in 2024.
